DAVID M. VITOLA

David served the citizens of Hernando and Citrus Counties as a prosecutor from 2019 to 2022 before co-founding Vitola & Card.
As a former prosecutor, experienced litigator, and trial attorney, David brings a unique perspective to criminal defense. He understands how cases are built from the initial investigation through trial, how prosecutors evaluate evidence and make decisions, and what it takes to effectively negotiate with the State. This background allows him to identify weaknesses in the prosecution's case, anticipate the State's strategy, and develop strong defense strategies tailored to each client's circumstances.
David's extensive trial history provides another valuable advantage to his clients. Trial skills cannot be learned from a textbook. They are developed through experience in the courtroom. David has stood before judges and juries, examined witnesses, presented arguments, and fought for his clients when the stakes are highest. As a client of David's, you can be confident knowing your case is being handled by an attorney who has the skill to navigate even the most complex courtroom challenges.
A double Gator, David earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida before attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law. His connection to the local legal community and knowledge of the court system allow him to provide informed, strategic representation to clients throughout the region.
Outside of the office, David enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and spending time with his fiancée, two children, and two dogs.

LINDSAY T. CARD

Lindsay brings a unique combination of personal injury experience, courtroom knowledge, and client-focused advocacy to every case she handles. Before co-founding Vitola & Card, Lindsay spent two years as a prosecutor in Osceola and Orange Counties, where she was a member of the Economic Crimes Unit. Her time as a prosecutor provides valuable insight into litigation strategies and allows her to approach each case with a well-rounded understanding of the legal process. She prepares every case with trial in mind, holding insurance companies accountable when they undervalue claims or refuse to do what is right.
Before becoming an attorney, Lindsay spent more than 15 years working in the personal injury field. As the primary point of contact for hundreds of clients suffering injuries, primarily from auto accidents, she developed a passion for client care, communication, and helping people navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She understands the physical, emotional, and financial challenges injury victims face after an accident and is committed to providing compassionate guidance, determined advocacy, and personalized representation while pursuing the best possible outcome for each client.
As an active member of the Florida Justice Association and American Association for Justice, Lindsay remains connected with the plaintiff's advocacy community and stays informed on the latest developments in personal injury law.
Lindsay earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her law degree from Florida State University College of Law. When she's not at the office, she enjoys playing music and spending time at Disney with her husband and two children.
